Katherine is a Provisionally Licensed Counselor supervised by Dawn Jones, LPC (Lic. #2018022949) with a deep specialization in anti-trafficking, sexual addiction, and trauma recovery. Her journey began with a Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Alabama, but her passion for helping vulnerable populations quickly led her to the field of anti-trafficking. For over a decade, Katherine worked internationally in the fight against human trafficking, providing direct support to victims and collaborating with global organizations to combat exploitation. This work shaped her understanding of human resilience and fueled her desire to make a deeper impact in the lives of those recovering from trauma.
Katherine went on to earn her Master’s in Counseling from Covenant Theological Seminary. Her approach is one of patience, grace, and forward movement, offering a safe and supportive environment where clients can begin to take steps toward healing and growth. Katherine is passionate about walking alongside those seeking to break free from cycles of addiction, reclaim their lives, and pursue a path of flourishing. Informed in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Katherine incorporates this evidence-based approach into her work, as she helps individuals and couples to manage overwhelming emotions and create meaningful change.
